Tania BERNARD

Tania BERNARD was born in Brussels, in a white russian family.
She grew up in an artistic atmosphere, surrounded by musicians and painters, studied art, the violin and foreign languages at university. She then became an international conference interpreter.

After her marriage with Georges, she moved to France, had three children and became involved in an international women’s organization in order to foster international understanding and promote welfare for women and children.

Her children being now grown up and living in Paris and New York, she first moved to the South of France, and then back to the Loire river where she gradually realized that the strange restlessness she felt within was caused by the strong urge to paint again.

She now lives surrounded by the students of her painting school, “L’ATELIER DE TANIA”
She paints pictures that offer happiness, joy and beauty.
Her paintings do not express psychological tensions; still partly figurative, they give a purified and radiant approach of nature.
