Meditative imagination

Gui Cavatore was born in Le Lavandou (France) in 1946. After thirty years of parisian life and journalism, he returned to his native Provence in order to dedicate himself entirely to painting.

After a long surrealist period, today his works alternate between abstract art and figurative art, a common denominator being an emphasis on the make-believe, the elements of nature and méditation. His work has been exhibited in Lavandou, Saint-Marcellin, Nimes and Paris.
